The Chronology The chronology is large and comprehensive. The time line is divided into segments, the buttons for which you will find above and below. During the earlier period the entries are comparatively sparse and the pages are shorter. You can get to each period from the buttons above. In the 20th Century smaller periods are used for each page, but each page is long. When you click on '20th Century' the next level of the hierarchy will open up. There is also a search engine available, but choose your phrase carefully, or you will have too many hits.
Most of the site consists of text. Feel free to copy the material you want from the pages to print and read at your convenience. Comments are welcome
